Learning Update: June 12 - 16

 Hola! My apologies for not keeping up with the blog these past 2 months. Here is a learning update for this week. 

Spanish:
We have finished our spring books and are working on creating our summer books  
Book Topics: 

  • What is the weather during the summer?
  • The summer and my 5 senses: 
    • What do I see?
    • What do I smell?
    • What do I hear?
    • What do I feel?
    • What do I taste?
  • What animals are there in the summer?
  • What flowers are there in the summer?
  • What clothes do I wear in the summer?
  • What activities do I like to do in the summer?



Math:
We've been working on word problems with addition and subtraction within 20.

English:

We have finished writing our Fairytale stories and are in the planning process in our Folk Tale stories.

Science:

We are working in groups to research the following animals:

Grizzly bear, Dragonfly, Bunny, Bluejay, Fox & Beaver


Note:

Please return any overdue library books before the last day of school. 

Our Alien Inline Skating time is on Monday from 10:20 am - 11:20 am. 

Yearbooks went home today for those who placed orders.
